Objective

My objective is simple; To find lasting work in the marine industry, aboard an active and exciting vessel. I love traveling, seeing new ports and meeting new people, and have a need to be on the water.

Personal

I am an experienced captain and ships engineer. I've been in the marine industry since the late 80's. I am a very fast thinker and pride myself on my safety record.
I am very proficient with motor vessels specializing in twin engine power plants and I am well versed in sailboat handling as well. I have completed several ICW trips along the eastern seaboard, and too many transfers and trainings to list. I have run vessels from 5 foot to 137 foot LOA with up to 100 souls aboard.
I have been the captain/skipper for professional tournament fishing vessels, as well as research and survey vessels.
I have run tow boats and tugs hauling vessels, homes, and other barges in all conditions.
I feel confident that I would be a vital asset to any vessel, as well as an excellent leader for your crew. I am very friendly and have excellent people skills. My well rounded administrative/leadership background allow me to handle any responsibility.
The safety of my crew and vessel (in that order) is my highest priority. I speak English, light Spanish, and I am fluent in American Sign Language.
